CHARLOTTE – The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will host its annual Festival of Tables on May 2 to help address key issues the community faces, such as economic mobility and family stability.
The Festival of Tables brings Charlotte’s top interior designers to display creative “tablescapes.” It includes a silent auction and a luncheon featuring Sonja Nichols, founder and CEO of Nicholant Enterprises.
Funds raised at the Festival of Tables will provide college scholarships for at-risk youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte and support The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope program, which helps homeless families.
The event has raised more than $1 million over 31 years for critical needs.
It takes place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 2 at Sheraton, 555 S McDowell St. Tickets are available online for $55.
