The Pineville Pilot Feb. News Briefs

Pineville leaders approve zoning for new trampoline center

The former PetSmart building at the end of Centrum Parkway will soon be home to an indoor trampoline center.

Pineville Town Council unanimously approved a text amendment to the town’s O-C, or office commercial, district to include recreation centers. The building would house the second trampoline center in town, the first being the popular Sky High Sports, located at 601 N Polk St. Town leaders questioned the need for an additional trampoline center in town limits and warned developers the former PetSmart location is hidden, though currently one of the largest vacant commercial lots in the town. With tight ordinances on sign restrictions and signage, advertising for the new space could be difficult, they said.
