RALEIGH – Gov. Roy Cooper appointed two Charlotte residents to the North Carolina Child Care Commission.
Susan Butler-Staub is an instructor of early childhood education at Central Piedmont Community College. She has more than 13 years of experience in the fields of child care and childhood education. She previously served as the editor of Young Children, the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s professional journal.
Rhonda Rivers is the director of curriculum and training and the village preschool director at Rainbow Station. She previously worked as a teacher in preschool, elementary and middle schools. She is the founder and president of Wise Hearts, a mentor group for teen girls.
