Diaper Bank of North Carolina works with established family-support organizations to distribute diapers to low-income families – ensuring families needing diapers the most are the first ones receiving them.
“Rainbow Child Care Center has an ongoing dedication to provide a safe, happy and healthy childhood experience for all children,” CEO Patrick Fenton said. “Our staff and families have a rich tradition of supporting the children and families in need throughout the communities Rainbow is privileged to serve. It’s overwhelming to see the North Carolina communities work together for such a great cause.”
Rainbow Child Care and community partners are working together to collect diapers for all ages through Sept. 30 to support local families. Rainbow students are decorating some of the diapers with colorful designs to spread love and joy to the families that receive them.
“Something as small as a diaper can have a significant impact for families in need,” said Michelle Old, Diaper Bank of North Carolina’s executive director. “We’re incredibly thankful for the support of Rainbow Child Care Center and their efforts and the work they’re doing to support DBNC and communities throughout the state. We know their donations and colorful diaper designs will brighten the days of those who receive them.”
