CHARLOTTE – Casey Hickey has joined Coleman Lew, a Charlotte-based executive search firm.
“Casey has been a fundraiser, communications and PR person and most recently, a small business owner,” CEO Shana Plott said. “She’s intellectually curious, a quick study, understands a wide variety of businesses and is going to be a tremendous asset to our clients.”
She and her husband, Mark Meissner, moved from San Francisco to Charlotte in 2010 to launch Twenty Degrees Chocolates and Petit Philippe, a popular wine and artisan chocolate retailer.
As co-owner/operator, Hickey developed the chocolate brand and recipes; led chocolate sales and marketing; oversaw production; and spearheaded new business development.
Hickey volunteers her time in the community as treasurer of Assistant Housing Management, a nonprofit supporting teaching assistants from Germany during their assignments in Charlotte.
She’s also on the stewardship committee at Myers Park Baptist Church.
