CHARLOTTE – The Melting Pot is renovating its space at King’s Court, creating a brighter, more modern atmosphere.
An anchor at the shopping center since 1989, The Melting Pot will update its 5,300-square-foot space with an expanded bar area with high-top tables and a new contemporary look.
“The Melting Pot experience has evolved over the years, and we look forward to updating our space to reflect the variety of ways that our customers dine with us, whether that’s an intimate dinner for two or a group of friends enjoying dessert and drinks at the bar,” owner Todd Dennis said.
The Melting Pot recently agreed to a lease extension with Lat Purser that will keep it at King’s Court for another 12 years. Located at 901 South Kings Drive, King’s Court totals 25,000 square feet.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with one of Charlotte’s most well-known restaurants as it brings a new look and energy to the retail center,” said Jimmy Penman, director of retail leasing for Lat Purser.
Construction at the restaurant is expected to start April 17. The Melting Pot will be closed from April 17 to 20, reopening on April 21.
