Students at St. Gabriel Catholic School are participating in an International Fair, where students are exposed to an international experience through art, food, song and dance.
Each of the school’s 24 classes researched a different country, did an art project on the country, played a native sport in gym class and learned a song from their country.
On Thursday, March 1, students will “tour the world,” viewing their peers’ work at a booth set up for each country, including different homemade or local ethnic food from area restaurants.
On Friday, March 2, the school will have an assembly featuring musicians and dance troops from a variety of countries. The assembly will conclude with each grade singing a song from their assigned country.
