CHARLOTTE – Amélie’s French Bakery and Café launched a summer menu June 1 inspired by the beaches of the Riviera and fresh flavors, including coconut, key lime, blueberry, mango and passion fruit.
The Amélie’s team crafted the seasonal menu to include more than 25 items celebrating the summer season.
Amélie’s also introduces two new creations: Mimosas to Share and Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches.
The Mimosas to Share, available for groups of two or four, are served with sparkling wine, orange juice, fresh fruit purée and simple syrup.
The Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches feature ice cream or sorbet between two classic macaron cookies. The two flavors are Lavender Lemon and Salted Caramel Brownie.
“We are so excited to reveal our brand-new Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches,” Executive Chef Mary Jayne Wilson said. “This is something I’ve been working on for many years with the Amélie’s team and have finally perfected the recipe and method to construct these beauties.”
The menu is available at all locations, including NoDa (2424 N Davidson St.), Uptown (380 S. College St.), Carmel Commons (7715 Pineville Matthews Road) and Park Road (4321 Park Road). Visit www.ameliesfrenchbakery.com for details.
