CHARLOTTE – Jamie English, owner of Love Your Life, motivates teenage girls and others to become bold and self-driven while striving to live a life that is fearless.
She remembers experiencing personal failures and pain while dealing with the fear of break from things that had a hold on her life. She now uses her personal growth from those obstacles to teach others to set themselves free of self-doubt.
English offers individuals a chance to learn about how to break free from judgment and lack of self worth to live a life that full of happiness and love. She explains how providing support and mentorship for teenage girls and boys helps them to see potential in themselves for a bright future.
She is proud to have brought life back into a young man’s world, allowing him to have a positive outlook toward his future. With care and the constant support, he enrolled in school full time, left a gang and began working a full-time job.
“He continues to inspire me to make a difference in the lives of other teens,” English said. “I like to inspire teens that are vulnerable and battle with hardships to help change their lives around.”
She teaches monthly Love Your Life workshops that show female teens about the importance of self-love and confidence.
English informs teens on how to become leaders amongst their peers. When youth serve as positive examples, she said others follow toward creating a community where everyone cares for one another.
