ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sarah Crosland has written a book through Reedy Press that highlights Charlotte’s quirky history that will have locals and tourists eager to explore the city.
“Secret Charlotte: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure” is available for $19.95 at local bookstores or online at www.reedypress.com.
The book introduces readers to several obscure spots, including the Miracle on the Hudson plane, a 17-pound nugget, a parking garage that sings, a giant dragon that blows smoke and a grave of cojoined twins that inspired a Broadway musical.
Crosland has written “100 Things to Do In Charlotte Before You Die” and “Food Lovers’ Guide to Charlotte.”
