Local contemporary, conceptual artist Edwin Gil will open a new exhibit next month at Gil Gallery.
The show highlights local artists and their interpretation of the color green via different artistic mediums. It’s the third part of a four part series focused on colors.
Artists can submit art for the show by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25. Artists needs to include no more than a one-page statement and biography, including headshot, on a 8.5-by-11-inch sheet of paper using 12 point Times New Roman font. Anything else won’t be accepted. Also needed is a no more than one-page description of the artwork to be presented and the connection with the color green. Visual artists should attach a photo of their work that is no bigger than 40-by-40.
Art in the mediums of visual, photography, dance, music, theater and poetry will be accepted.
