The Central Piedmont Community College Summer Theatre has three shows going on in the next few weeks.
“Guys and Dolls” opens up Friday, June 15, at 8 p.m., and has showings every day until June 23, except for June 18. The play “is an oddball romantic comedy that is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy,” according to a news release from the school.
“Noises Off” opens June 29 at 8 p.m., and is followed by performances every day until July 7, except July 2 and 4. The play follows a cast of “itinerant actors” as they rehearse a flop called “Nothing’s On.”
“Rapunzel” will be aimed more at children, though it’s a show for all ages. Kids will have 14 chances to see the attempted rescue of Rapunzel, as the show plays June 27 through July 14. There are no shows July 2, 3, 4 and 9.
