Stefan Sagmeister, founder of Sagmeister Inc. and an influential graphic designer, will speak May 24 at the Mint Museum Uptown.
Sagmeister will discuss how to achieve happiness as a designer, his tactics to make sure his work remains a calling and not a “job” and how to design pieces that induce happiness in the viewer.
The event, a Thursday, is at 7 p.m. It costs $5 for museum members and $10 for others. College students can attend for free with valid school identification. Register for the event at the museum’s website, www.mintmuseum.org.
The Mint Museum Uptown is located at 500 S. Tryon St.
