Festival, craft fair helps The Sandbox

May 10, 2012 by CW Editor Leave a Comment

SAFE College Funding will host a carnival and street fair next weekend to raise money for nonprofit The Sandbox.

The event, May 19, a Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include food, arts, crafts, specialty vendors, music and games for kids. It’s at the parking lot of SAFE College Funding, at 1110 Sam Newell Road in Matthews. Admission is free, while proceeds from purchases benefit The Sandbox.

The Sandbox helps families with the services they need when they have a child with cancer or life-altering illness.
