Don Hertzfeldt, the Academy Award nominee and animator of films like “Rejected,” “Billy’s Balloon” and “The Meaning of Life,” will lead a screening of his work and hold a lecture in April at The Light Factory.
The upcoming discussion, scheduled for April 14, is part of the museum’s Luminaries Lecture Series. Along with presenting a selection of his animated shorts, Hertzfeldt will give an exclusive regional premier of his newest film, “It’s Such a Beautiful Day,” at Crownpoint Stadium 12, 9630 Monroe Road. Admission is $10 for members of The Light Factory and $12 for general public.
